Champions League, mission accomplished in Civitanova: Trentino Itas back in Final!

The wait lasted only one season, but now Trentino Volleyball is in the CEV Champions League Final again!
On the weekend of May 4th and 5th, at a venue yet to be made official, the Gialloblù Club will be able to go back in the hunt for its fourth ever European Champions League title, playing the match that awards the annual edition of the highest continental trophy for Clubs; after Prague 2009, Lodz 2010, Bolzano 2011, Krakow 2016, Verona 2021 and Ljubljana 2022 the extraordinary epic of the Club of via Trener in the CEV Champions League will thus be enriched by another stage to remember, regardless of the result that will result. The one to be played against the Poles of Jastrzebski Wegiel will be the seventh final ever in the most important and difficult competition at the international level, the third in the last four years.
The Italian champion lineup secured this new appointment with history by conquering the two sets it was looking for on the eve of the match; after losing the first partial, which although it had led for a long time in its first half, Soli's team in fact later changed gears, becoming absolute masters of the court in the following fractions. In fact, Michieletto (mvp with 14 points and 68% in attack), Lavia (12 with 62%) and Kozamernik (71% in the first half, decisive at the block and at serve) led the redemption of the yellow-blues, who on the score of 2-1 outside could thus celebrate, even before the end of the official match, the qualification. In the following sets and with the ticket to the final already in his pocket, the Trentino coach then offered space to all the players who had not entered up to that point, however good at fighting to the end before surrendering 9-15 at the tie break for an irrelevant defeat and never as sweet as in this case.
