In the 2024/25 season Trentino Volleyball in contention for the CEV Cup

Despite the bitter epilogue of the Final Play Off series for the 3rd place, won by Milan (who consequently qualified for the 2025 CEV Champions League), Trentino Volleyball will be able to play a European Cup again next season.
After five consecutive participations in the top continental club competition, marked by the presence in three SuperFinals, the international path of the via Trener club will in fact continue in the CEV Cup - the second most important and visible competition for clubs. According to the Fipav-Lega indications, the fourth placed team in the Play Off Scudetto will in fact access the 2025 CEV Cup. For the club of via Trener, this will be the fifth participation in the competition, held by Rzeszow, after the 2004/05 season (in which it was eliminated by Halkbank Ankara in the round of 16 and to which it had gained access after having been previously eliminated from the Top Teams Cup), 2014/15 (second place behind Dinamo Moscow, victorious in the Golden Set) 2016/17 (second place behind Tours, victorious only in the Golden Set) and 2018/19. It is precisely to the last edition that the most significant memory is linked, as on that occasion Trentino Volley won the title, overcoming Galatasaray in the Final and placing the only trophy still missing from its trophy cabinet on 26 March 2019.
Trentino Volleyball will be one of the seeded players in the event, which does not envisage group stages, but only double rounds in a knockout round, which it is likely to enter starting from the round of 16. The draw should take place in Luxembourg in June; in the coming weeks the European Confederation will make all the dates and more details official.
