In the summer of 2022, the Milanese setter decided to leave his comfort zone—he had been playing for his hometown team, where he made his SuperLega debut in 2015—to bet on himself and take over the legacy of Giannelli as the starting setter for Itas Trentino. Since then, he hasn’t stopped winning—not only with the national team (between September 2021 and October 2022, he became both European Champion and World Champion wearing the Azzurri jersey), but also with Trento, with whom he has won two Italian Championships (Scudetti), one Champions League, and one Italian Super Cup: a title in each of his first four seasons wearing the yellow-blue jersey.
