Originally from Belluno but now fully Trentino, he is one of the many talents developed by Trentino Volley’s Youth Sector in recent years, eventually making his way to the SuperLega first team to put all his skills to good use.
His journey with the yellow-blue Club began at the age of thirteen, when he was discovered in Belluno by the youth coaches and started wearing the Itas Trentino jersey in the Under-14 team, immediately winning the Boy League — just as Giannelli had done ten years earlier in a similar fashion.
From that moment on, he moved to Trento, progressing through the Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 teams, and even making early appearances in Serie A3 and Serie B with the UniTrento Volley team.
During that time, he also frequently wore the blue jersey of Italy’s Pre-Junior and Junior National Teams, standing out as a talented outside hitter with his best weapons being front-row fundamentals (attack and block) and serving.
A shoulder injury kept him sidelined during his first SuperLega season, but in the second one, he is aiming to play a significant role — not just in training. And Coach Mendez can help him grow a lot.
