He is a highly experienced professional, having graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1995 and worked for the Italian Basketball Federation for ten seasons, from 1996 to 2006. During this time, he also gained extensive experience with the Italian national teams in handball, field hockey, and athletics, as well as collaborating with the Italian Tennis Federation and the Italian Davis Cup team.
In volleyball, he has an impressive résumé as well, particularly in Rome (women’s volleyball in 2006/2007 and men’s volleyball from 2007 to 2013) and with the senior women’s national team, where he worked alongside Mazzanti from 2013 to 2015 and again in 2023.
In the summer of 2025, he served as physiotherapist for the Italian Under-19 men’s team.
