His volleyball journey is deeply intertwined with Trentino Volley—the only club he has ever been part of. He started as a youth academy player, then played in the national leagues (A3 and A2), and eventually became a youth coach and now serves as the team’s Scoutman.
His passion for numbers stems from his former role on the court; as a middle blocker, he would closely study the opponent’s setter distribution and the hitters’ trajectories with precision and attention to detail.
In 2003, Trentino Volley promoted him to the first team’s technical staff, convinced that his on-court experience and deep loyalty to the yellow-blue colors could make him a key asset for Soli and the future coaches of Itas Trentino.
It was a winning bet.
