He is a well-known name among regional women’s volleyball enthusiasts; in recent years, he has frequently crossed paths with Trentino Volley, facing them as an opponent while coaching Millenium Brescia in the 2022/23 season and Futura Giovani Busto Arsizio in the most recent one.
After starting his career in Chieri, first as a scout and later as an assistant coach, in 2008 he moved to Asystel Novara, where he won his first trophy, the CEV Cup. In 2009, he began his head coaching career at Chieri ’76 in Serie B2, then moved on to local rivals Famila Generali Chieri in Serie A2, winning the Promotion Playoffs and earning promotion to the top division.
He later coached prestigious teams in Serie A1, including Casalmaggiore, Modena, Scandicci, and Filottrano. After two years in Serie A2 at Montecchio Maggiore, he returned to Scandicci in 2020 as Barbolini’s assistant.
His most recent experiences include coaching Brescia, where he won the Serie A2 Italian Cup in 2022, and Futura Giovani Busto Arsizio, where he faced Trento in last season’s A2 championship.
Alongside his club career, Beltrami has also had significant roles with national teams: he was assistant coach to Guidetti for the German National Team from 2006 to 2013, head coach of the German Under-20 team in 2014, and assistant coach for the Dutch National Team from 2017 to 2020.
