BTS Arena, the yellow-blues are hard at work for their debut in SuperLega

Trento, 14 October 2025

Training resumed this morning at the BTS Arena for Itas Trentino’s men’s team. After a day off on Monday, which coincided with the team’s presentation to sponsors, authorities, and the media, the Italian champions returned to the gym for what will be their last week of training before their debut in the 2025/26 Credem Banca SuperLega.
Preparation for Tuesday, October 21’s match in Cisterna di Latina (the opening round of the regular season) began with a double session: weights and individual technique in the morning, group work in the late afternoon. The program will be repeated in full on Thursday and Saturday, while on Wednesday and Sunday the yellow-blues will train only in the afternoon. The technical staff has also scheduled a full day of rest on Friday, following the evening with the fans, scheduled for October 16 starting at 7 p.m. at the premises of sponsor Caat, in Via Fersina 12 in Trento.
During this period, coach Marcelo Mendez will be able to count on thirteen of the fourteen players in the new roster; only Daniele Lavia will be training separately, and he will once again be replaced by newcomer Andrea Giani.
