Michieletto: “Full of energy and ready to play for my Itas Trentino”

“It feels great to be back training with my team, Itas Trentino, after winning another world title,” said Manila MVP Alessandro Michieletto. “I couldn’t wait; I returned with a smile on my face not only because of the success with the national team but also because I always feel good here in Trento. There are many new teammates and a new coach to get to know. I’m full of energy and eager to perform. It’s going to be a very intense season, but in these first days we’ll ride the momentum from the World Championship to get right into it. Itas Trentino is still a very competitive team, and I believe the new coach will bring us a lot.”
“I want to keep improving and continue being a point of reference for this group,” he continued. “I think this roster is even more offensive and aggressive than the one in the recent past — a style that the coach also wants to pursue. We don’t have much time, but we’ll make the most of it, even with the limited number of full-team training sessions before the season starts.
