Match 2 will be played tomorrow afternoon in Molfetta for the semifinal playoffs in Super League UnipolSai 2015. ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino arrives in Puglia with the possibility of victory to gain access to the semi-finals, after being ahead 1-0 in the series that is calculated to the best of three matches. Kick-off scheduled at 5pm on Radio Dolomiti and www.sportube.tv (free streaming).
The success on Wednesdays night (3-0) in Game 1 has delivered the yellow-blues a win in the first of two match for the seventh time in eight seasons to access the semifinals for the league playoffs. Team Molfetta will try to take advantage of Stoytchev team any of the two opportunities in an attempt to redeem one of three external KO in the regular season, which was recorded at PalaPoli on January 25th. To seal the deal tomorrow would be also important from the physical point of view, given that this would guarantee the ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino can have an entire week to prepare for the eventual match 1 of the next round of the draw.
"Match 2 will be a very different game from the one played Wednesday night at PalaTrento” - says coach Radostin Stoytchev -. “Molfetta was one of three teams that managed to beat us in front of their fans, and that success has not come by chance. PalaPoli has always played good volleyball, motivated and aided by their zealous public. It will not be an easy win for this challenge but we have to think about our game and take advantage of the first indications that emerged in the match to improve and fix some situations which were not effective.”
The Trentino will train in Puglia this evening, after yesterday morning workout at PalaTrento. The Bulgarian technician  can count on all fourteen of his actual squad players available and decide which player will be on the report, where thirteen athletes are expected to participate.
Match 2 of the quarter-finals of Super League 2015 with UnipolSai will be Trentino Volley 41st game of the season: The stats show 35 wins and 5 losses. The match at PalaPoli will be number 77 in the history of the yellow-blues playoffs championship (48 victories, 28 defeats), the 39th ever in the quarter. In the previous twelve participations at this stage of the game  Trentino Volley board has won match 2 eight times in the series.
PREVIOUSLY Tomorrow will be the sixth confrontation ever between Molfetta and Trento, a challenge that occurs regularly in the championship in just two seasons. Stats look favorable to yellow-blues 4-1, but the recent success of Puglia refers to the match held at PalaPoli this season: January 25th, 2015 the Exprivia prevailed 3-2 (20- 25, 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 22-20) thanks to the 46 points of the pair Sket-Torres. The only positive precedent in the field of Molfetta goes back to January 26th, 2014 (3-0 win in the sign of Sokolov and Suxho).
SERIES ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino ahead 1-0 in the series of the quarter-final, which is played by the best of three games. 3-0 accrued at PalaTrento last April 15th with a partial 25-13, 25-20, 25-20 in Game 1. Tomorrows night match 2 in Puglia , could be the last in case the yellow-blues gets another victory. Game 3 will be played only if Molfetta dominate and then it will be actually take place in Trentino Wednesday, April 22nd, starting at 8:30pm. Who progresses the turn will be in the semi-finals (best of three games series that kicks off Saturday, April 25th), the winner of the fourth Perugia-Verona 1-0 forward will see the Venetians (tomorrow nights match 2 at PalaOlimpia). On the same day Game 2 will be played for the other two quarterfinals between Ravenna-Modena (0-1) and Latin-Treia (1-0).
REFEREES Match 2 will be directed by the professional couple from Umbria composed of Simone Santi (of Città di Castello - Perugia in Serie A since 1994 and international FIVE from 2011) and Fabrizio Saltalippi (Perugia in Serie A since 1995 and internationally since 2000). The two referees are at their third joint leadership in Super League UnipolSai 2014/15, the absolute sixteenth  for both. Saints in the regular season has crossed paths with Trento at the success of Latina (3-2, on November 23rd) and Piacenza (3-0, April 4th) while Saltalippi directed Trent-Treia 3-2 (November 30th ), Modena-Trent 1 -3 (March 21st)  and quincidently the only previous season in Molfetta to defeat in tie break on January 25th.
