Gym Sanbapolis

The Sanbapolis gym in Trento is home to the women’s team of Trentino Volley. Located within the university student housing complex of Trento, the facility hosts most of the team’s training sessions, and until the 2022/23 season (their debut in the women’s Serie A2), it was also the venue for official matches before the move to the “ilT quotidiano Arena”.
The sports hall, inaugurated in 2013 and situated in the southern area of the city, can accommodate around 600 spectators. It is highly accessible and equipped with a spacious underground parking lot; all areas can be reached by dedicated elevators or, alternatively, by internal ramps. During the season, the women’s team shares the venue with UniTrento Volley, Trentino Volley’s Under-23 team, which plays its Serie B matches here and in the past has also competed in two Serie A3 championships.

BY CAR

Exit the A22 Motorway at TRENTO SUD. At the roundabout, take the second exit and follow the signs for “Sanbapolis” until you reach the sports hall after about 2.3 km.
From the Trento ring road, take exit no. 2 and follow the signs for “Sanbapòlis” until you reach the sports hall after about 2.5 km.

BY BUS

From the bus or train station (which are adjacent), take line 13, 8, 3, or B332 and get off at the “Viale Verona – Questura” stop.
The service operates only on weekdays and public holidays.

BY PLANE

The nearest national airport is “Valerio Catullo” in Villafranca (VR). After landing there, it is recommended to continue to Verona’s train station (then take a train to Trento and use local buses) or take a taxi to reach the sports facility in Trentino.
