After his first season in Trento, during which he served as Mazzanti’s assistant in the first half before taking over as head coach to replace him, he returned to the role of assistant coach to support Beltrami in training sessions and tactical game analysis.
Before becoming a coach, he had a solid playing career as a middle blocker, competing for nine seasons in Serie A2 and also representing the Junior National Team, with whom he won a bronze medal at the 2006 European Championship.
He served as Mazzanti’s assistant with the Italian senior women’s national team in the summer of 2023.
