For Sebastian Solé 899 points in his first 99 games with Trentino Volley

After the defeat in three sets of Wednesday evening in Puglia, Diatec Trentino hurries and really wants to immediately turn the page to get behind the unfortunate performance of PalaPoli, on the field of a wild Exprivia Molfetta. The calendar, from this point of view, for once will be in aid of the Italian champions, that already on Sunday will have the opportunity to redeem the second setback in the regular season in the match against Ninfa Latina in PalaTrento, at 6.00 pm (tickets pre sale on www.vivaticket.it).
The team has returned to Trent in the early afternoon today and will return to train already on Friday morning in the first of four training sessions in preparation for the new home appointment (one on Saturday afternoon and one on Sunday morning).
The challenge with Latina will mark the entry of Trentino Volley into the club of the "centenarians" for another player of the squad: on November 29th, Sebastian Solé in fact celebrate his hundredth presence with the jersey of the Club of Via Trener, becoming part of the group of athletes (eighteen totally) that during the first sixteen seasons of the Company’s activities ended in triple digit in this particular ranking. Solé is the fourth middle-blocker to achieve this goal in a ranking led by a former companion of his sector as Emanuele Birarelli (345). Behind the former captain then there are Andrea Bari (339), Kaziyski (325), Colaci (254 on Sunday), Della Lunga (215), Juantorena (193), Zygadlo (191), Raphael (182), Lanza (167), Sokolov (164), Hall (159), Stokr (140), Burgsthaler (124), Tofoli (120), Winiarski (106), Djuric (104) and Heller (100).
"I have been in Trento for just over two years and actually I didn’t realize that I already played so many matches” - said the athlete native of Rosario, who has racked up 44 appearances in his debut season (2013/14), 45 in the last one and ten in the current one for a total 899 personal points -. “All this means that often we get to play the finals of many competitions and if I look back this is the case: in two seasons I was lucky enough to play with this team two World Club, a European final, two Final Four of Italian Cup, two Italian Super Cup Final and a Championship. When I chose Trentino Volley I declared my intention to stay here a long time, and above all I dreamed of playing important games. I can only be satisfied but I will not stop here."
Commenting on reaching this milestone, Solé then reviews the most important matches. "Curiously, I played the first world premiere in my continent, South America, and against a team of my country like UPCN (on October 17th, 2013, ed): it was a match valid for the World Cup 2013 in Betim, Brazil, and even by losing at the tie break, it still left on me a great emotion. The ugliest and most beautiful match are always referred to a single opponent: Modena. Against the Emiliani we lost really bad the first match of the quarterfinals of the 2014 championship playoffs at home in PalaTrento (on March 27th, 2014, ed); it was a bad feeling fortunately deleted from the beautiful memory of Game 4 of the Final in PalaPanini. No matter if at that time I played good or bad: it only matters the joy which you can experience by winning the league title, a title that I have always wanted. To conclude the game with my attack, then, it will remain something indelible for me."
“How do I imagine the hundredth match? First of all, I am glad to be able to play in front of our audience and then I hope to be able to properly celebrate it with a victory that will make us erase the bitterness of the defeat in Molfetta, where we struggled more mentally than physically to keep the rhythm of our opponents” - said Sebastian. -”Now we must turn the page and we will be able to do it with Latina; personally, then, I’m back from a few games not really lackluster, so the desire for redemption in me is even greater".
