On Tuesday, August 19, the preparation of the Champions of Italy begins

It will only be two weeks until the first official moment of the 2025/26 Trentino Volley men's season begins. The start of the pre-championship preparation of Itas Trentino, Champion of Italy, is set for the afternoon of Tuesday, August 19 at the BTS Arena in Trento and will inevitably be presenting very few members.
With ten players from the new squad and first coach Marcelo Mendez involved with their respective national teams in anticipation of the September World Cup, only four players will start training: the setter Alessandro Acquarone, the spiker Alessandro Bristot, the libero Nicola Pesaresi and the young middle-blocker promoted by the Youth Team Leonardo Sandu. There will be around ten junior elements of the roster together with them until the end of September, to support them both from a numerical and qualitative point of view. This junior team, from October, will once again play in the Serie B Championship as UniTrento Volley.
While waiting for Mendez, the technical staff that will direct the training will however already be complete and aided by Assistant Coach Adriano Di Pinto, Scoutmen Fabio Dalla Fina and Stefano Coser, Physiotherapist Luca Pirani, Athletic Trainer Davide Grigoletto, Team Manager Riccardo Michieletto, Social Doctor Mauro Bertoluzza, and Nutritionist Alfonso Presutto. Luca Mazzola and Fabio Tarantino, UniTrento Volley Athletic Trainer and Physiotherapist respectively, will also be with them.
