Trento, December 23th, 2015

The final score of 3-0 which was won on Tuesday evening in Puglia, officially ended the commitments of the 2015 calendar for Trentino Volley and archive the first half of the season of the Italian champions, who reached the Christmas break after playing 18 matches between October 24th and December 22nd, winning 14 of them.
Due to a disqualification, Radostin Stoytchev was forced to follow the last match from the stands, an absolutely particular position but that still allowed him to pick valuable insights: "Objectively is bad to watch the match from a distance, especially when you're used to stand on the sideline and can interact with the players”- admitted the coach of Diatec Trentino - “but it was still a useful experience that allowed me to note some details I usually do not see. Fortunately the match lasted only three sets, reducing my suffering; we played a game very different from that previous one played in Molfetta where we committed many fouls and we weren’t able to control their game. This time, however, we have always held the reins of the match; I don’t know if this is a sign of maturity, it is early to affirm it, but certainly the path we have taken is the right one.”
"The results for this first half of the season is positive, I would have called it excellent if we hadn’t just lost the regular-season home match against Exprivia a month ago” - continued Stoytchev. -”Except that episode, we did our best and it shows the goodness of the results: I refer especially to the victories won by the two teams ahead of us in the standings, Modena and Lube, and the successful trip to Verona. We will try to improve further in the coming months taking advantage of the championship break time. Unlike what we had planned, we will not be able to take full advantage of this period to increase our level of play because some athletes need to stop and do some diverse work while two others (Van de Voorde and Bratoev, editor's note) will not be part of the group because busy with their Nationals. It will mean that we will focus on individual technique and on the development of team’ skills  in some individual fundamental.
"On this occasion I want to send to our fans, sponsors and supporters, also on behalf of the team, best wishes for a Merry Christmas and happy holidays;” - concluded Stoytchev -”after this period we will find ourselves around a table with the company to start designing our future in anticipation of next season."
