Three points to continue the ascent towards the best positions of the Super League standings and inaugurate in the best possible way the triptych of matches that within eight days will lead to the end the first round of Super League. Diatec Trentino got them tonight in Lombardy thanks to the 3-0 on the bottom side of the tournament Revivre Milano during the previous of the ninth round of the regular season.
The march of the Italian champions in the league continues with another 3- 0 (the third one in six days), allowing them to reach the summit - waiting for Sunday’s matches -, on the eve of the double confrontation with Verona and Lube. To confiscate the entire stake in the field of a Milan that wanted to prove to be anything but resigned, the team of Stoytchev suffered especially in the second half of the match, when the opponents tried really hard, exploiting the good vein of the Bulgarian axis’ high ball Milushev-Skrimov. However, the Yellow-blues were good to keep calm, capitalizing the breaks previously earned and closing the second and third set with an identical 25-23. Significantly easier to win the first set, which had already highlighted the excellent form of Djuric (MVP with 17 points and 50% at the net) and the impact of Solé at the net (decisive with the block which earned 3-0 and previously author of 90% in the first half) as well as the nice surprise to see Urnaut again as a regular (instead of Lanza). The Slovenian confirmed to feel better by playing three fractions of the highest level in attack (60%), block (2) and receiving.
