Trento, November 29th, 2015
The ninth and last official match of a hectic month of November 2015 allows Diatec Trentino to immediately resume their march in the 2015/16 UnipolSai Super League. The Italian champions tonight at PalaTrento have been shown to have absorbed quickly the setback of Wednesday evening in Molfetta, beating with a stunning 3-0 Ninfa Latina in the match valid for the eighth round of the regular season.
The ransom of Stoytchev’s team is passed through the block and, more in general, for a phase break very effective because it is well supported also by attack and defense; with nine blocks (6 those collected from the two middle-blockers), the Yellow-blues have annihilated the hopes of Latina, who came to Trento trying to erase the defeat of Ravenna but instead stumbled in the second stop in a row. The hosts had a great desire to win; only the first set was a set of real battle, then Trento has spread thanks to the new beautiful evening of Djuric (best scorer with 15 points and 61% before giving space to Nelli for half of the last partial) and the effectiveness of the whole front in attack, well inspired by Giannelli particularly in ball. Among the positive notes, worth mentioning is also the league debut of Urnaut; Stoytchev made him taste the field in the closing stages of the second and third period, Tine was unable to get on the scoresheet but his return still gave a smile to more than 2,600 spectators in PalaTrento tonight.
