Tomorrow, Saturday, December 5th,  it will be played at the PalaBorsani of Castellanza (Varese), the previous of the ninth round of the regular season of 2015/16 Super League UnipolSai. Diatec Trentino will star in Lombardy visiting Revivre Milano, which is at the bottom of the ranking. The kick-off is scheduled at 6.00 pm, reported live on Radio Dolomiti and broadcasted live on League Volleyball Channel on www.sportube.tv.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO After conquering the first place of the ranking in Pool C CEV Champions League thanks to the Wednesday success against the Tours, the Italian champions can get back to focus on the championship for nine days, during which they will play the last three games of the first round. The first task on paper appears to be the most affordable, considering that the Yellow-blues will play in quick succession in Verona on December 8th and at home against the Lube on December 13th, but Radostin Stoytchev doesn’t have trust and asks, as always, maximum concentration and attention to a match where all the pressure will be in the court of Diatec Trentino.
"At this point of the season it happens few times to face a team without having precise information about its game and it happens even less to challenge the setter against whom you already played the last round of the regular season and now has moved to another team: everything will happen against Revivre and will increase certainly the difficulties of a commitment that by itself it already had some of them and comes just three days after the one against Tours” - said the Bulgarian coach, referring also to the recent arrival of Boninfante in the direction of Revivre. -”Compared to the beginning of the season, in addition, Milan has significantly improved the way they play, gain enthusiasm for the new arrival and has recovered an important element as Skrimov, who gives the team an important reference point in attack. It will not be an easy match, to win we will have to provide proof of a high level in all the fundamentals."
The preparation for the match was completed in the late morning today with a technical and tactical training in PalaTrento, that preceded the departure to Lombardy; available to the entire squad thirteen players, reason why Stoytchev might decide to put on the field Carlo De Angelis as the fifth hitter to alternate him in second line to Antonov.
Milano vs. Trento will represent the 624^ official match in the history of Trentino Volley (budget of 435 victories and 188 defeats), the 337^ away and the first ever in PalaBorsani - hall where never before tomorrow has been played any match.
FIRST TIME AS A FORMER OF DUTY FOR EX BURGSTHALER After 124 games, 345 points and 8 titles won in five seasons together (including also that historic debut back in 2000), for the first time Trentino Volley and Matthew Burgsthaler will meet as opponents in an official match. For the middle-blocker of Villazzano, great protagonist especially in the victories of Championship 2013, World Cup and Italian Super Cup in 2012 and 2013 Supercup, will therefore be a very special game against his hometown team. With the jersey of Milan, "Burghy" has so far confirmed his excellent quality in basic blocks, signing 13 winning blocks in 23 sets played.
PREVIOUSLY On Saturday evening will be written only the third act of the comparison between Trentino Volley and Power Volleyball Milan (Company founded only in 2013 and this season is participating for the second consecutive Italian top division). So, between the two Clubs the only previous officials are those related to the 2014/15 regular season, closed in both cases with 3-0 for Trento: on November 9th, 2014 at the Palatrento, and on February 8th at the Assago Forum. In its previous fourteen seasons of Serie A1, Trentino Volley had already faced two different teams in Milan: Asystel in six circumstances, between 2000 and 2003 and the Sparkling, on two occasions between 2007 and 2008. The total budget is of perfect equality: five vicotries against five Milanese.
REFEREES Designated Giorgio Gnani (from Ferrara, of role since 1997 and internationally since 2009) and Gianluca Cappello (from Sortino - Syracuse, in the highest category since 2004), at their first joint seasonal direction in 2015/16 UnipolSai Super League, the fifth personal for Gnani (during this regular season also directed Trento vs. Padua 3-1, on November 1st), the fourth for Cappello, who curiously refereed the ultimate Championship challenge of Milano vs. Trento (0-3, on February 8th, 2015).
