General tests for the Del Monte® Italian Super Cup 2015, on Thursday night at PalaTrento. In anticipation of the match that on Saturday in Modena will award the first title in the 2015/16 season, the Italian champions of Diatec Trentino will receive the visit of Calzedonia Verona for the Adige’s derby in a friendly version, which will start at 6.30 pm (free admission ).
For the tricolor this will be the only pre-season test, with Radostin Stoytchev that for the first time will have the entire staff on his disposal: the return of the players involved until last weekend with their respective national teams in Euro Volley 2015, was in fact completed on Tuesday evening with the arrival in Trento of Urnaut, Bratoev and Giannelli - the latest players to reach the PalaTrento.
"Seen the short time available to us before the debut on Saturday at PalaPanini this test match will certainly be useful to check the condition of all the athletes and to start setting up the work that awaits us in the coming months between races and workouts” - says the coach of Diatec Trentino-. “I do not expect any special instructions but I would already see the right spirit that this team will always have to compete at a high level against everybody".
So many reasons for interest in the match, in which the Calzedonia Verona comes with behind already seven friendly matches played last month, however, in view of the lower ranks of participation in the European Championships and the same three players Andrea Giani (fresh from a brilliant tournament as coach of Slovenia): during the pre-season the Scala have six victories (two against Padova, Milan, Monza, Shandong and Reggio Emilia) and only one defeat (against Brescia). Even for the Venetian this will be the first appointment with the complete team, that it will allow to evaluate the team after a market that has changed its face thanks to the arrivals of the setter Lube Baranowicz and the  Serbs high ball players Starovic and Kovacevic.
The match will be free admission and will be broadcasted live i on www.trentinovolley.it: the official website of the Company of via Trener will show on its home page the points and the record of each set, a few seconds after their conclusion.
