Lorenzetti at the press conference said: ”We work in order to stoke our dreams”

During today’s afternoon the screening room “Villotti Group” at the PalaTrento hosted the meeting between the local media and the trainer of Diatec Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti. The main topic of the conference was the imminent beginning of the series of the Semi-final  Play Off Scudetto UnipolSai 2018 against Perugia, which will start on Tuesday 29^th of March in Perugia. “ From now on all the matches we will play, both in Champions League and Play Off Scudetto, will be against strong teams - explained the technician form the Marches- . Therefore this will be a particular period, the players gained their opportunity to live it and they will play on the field being aware of the fact that they will face better teams than them but they will not start in a dejected way. Our duty is to work on an illusion, it doesn’t mean that there are no chances but it means that we must foster our dream day by day so that it will come true. We had more difficulties in reaching the semi-finals in comparison to other teams, but the fact that we have played a lot made us learn many things. We want to try and protract the series at least until game 4, and we will play all the matches with motivation. We must handle our emotions in particular at the PalaEvangelisti. It is difficult to find weaknesses in the team of Perugia because during this season they have played in a very good way and with continuity in the results, something that has given them awareness of their means”.
“I am proud of this team and of this group because after that difficult start, they were able to climb back to the top and to conquer the admission to the Semi-finals – continued Angelo Lorenzetti–. The players have been wonderful and beyond the way in which this championship will end, I want to say with pride that on one hand it is true that we haven’t been the best team or the strongest one, but on the other hand Diatec Trentino is composed of good people who were able to enjoy the difficult moments too and learn something from them. We have already obtained the qualification to the Coppa Europea for the next season and this is what I really desired for the team because I will have felt really sorry if this team interrupted its participation after ten years”.
On Wednesday afternoon the team will leave for Umbria where it will play game 1 of the semi-finals on Thursday. On Wednesday the 28^th of March the pre-emption right on seasonal ticket owners of the 2017/18 season for Sunday’s game 2 will be over.
