Play off Scudetto UnipolSai 2018, Perugia wins 3-1 the first really well fought match

The semifinal series of Play Off Scudetto UnipolSai 2018 has started in the favor of Sir Safety Perugia. During the match 1, which has been played tonight in PalaEvangelisti, the team from Umbria took advantage from the home field, conquering the score of 1-0 in the first out of a series of five matches, thanks to the 3-1 against Diatec Trentino. The yellow-blues have been hit by the wave of the shouts coming from more than 3.300 spectators; the home team took the most from of the home field in order to make the rules, especially during the last part of first, third and fourth set, which were all won with the sprint.
During the entire match Trentino Volley played very well and held on, using beautiful and efficient techniques, that made the number-one-in-the-rankings team falter. The only fault of Diatec Trentino was the attack, even though they succeeded in dominating the match during the second set and proved themselves also until the end of the third set, which Perugia won 23-25 (Bernanrdi's team at a point also reached the 15-21). The yellow-blue best scorer was Uros Kovacevic, who did great things and scored 16 points, 54% in the net, but aldo Kozamernik (4 blocks and 75% in the first part) and Lanza (13 points, 48%) performed greatly making their team go on in the run.
Sunday in PalaTrento during the match 2 the yellow-blies will have the occasion to make a step forward, even as far as the final score is concerned.
