President Mosna: “Trento remains one of the most sought-after in the business”

“We closed the season in an extremely positive way, playing 5 matches in the series of semi-final against Sir Safety Conad Perugia that I consider the most likely team to win the Scudetto – explained the president of Trentino Volley Diego Mosna during the last seasonal episode of “RTTR Volley - , the magazine that the partner TV of the yellow-blues broadcasted for the whole championship -. Even just for this reason we have to be proud and satisfied with what we’ve done. It’s hard to say goodbye to some players who won’t play with us in the next season; I’ve come to care with them and I wish I could confirm all of them without changing anything but I know that it’s not possible. At the beginning of the year we went through some hard times but we managed to regain our strength without changing the composition of the team but supporting each other in the belief that we could overcome the obstacles”.
“During the matches of the semi-finals we were able to show that we have the same preparation of Perugia or even a better one but in game 5 Perugia played with such determination that we didn’t manage to respond – said Mosna speaking with Sara Ravanelli - . Nevertheless, we’re proud to have obtained the qualification in a European championship like CEV even though it is the only cup that we still have not win. We’ll try to fill the gap even if playing in competitions like this forces our players to play every three days.  The days after the end of the season are those in which the team, Lorenzetti and the whole staff, study the team’s strengths and weaknesses in order to understand how to develop a stronger team. On the market there are more and more hardened competitors who are ready to show their abilities but Trento continues to be one of the most feared teams”.
