European Cups 2018/19, the five club participants has been decided

With the victory of Gi Group Monza on Kioene Padova in the only match of Finale Play Off for the fifth place, played on Sunday 29 April, and the consequent access to the next Challenge Cup, the 2018/19 scoreboard of the Italian teams admitted to the European Cups of the season has been completed. By regulation, the winning Scudetto, the winner of the Regular Season and the losing final Scudetto of the 2017-2018 season qualify for the next Champions League (in order of priority). After the already certain qualifications of Perugia (winner of the Regular Season) and Cucine Lube Civitanova (Scudetto Finalist), the last qualification admitted to the Champions League was Azimut Modena, as the third qualified of the Regular Season. The Diatec Trentino, fourth at the end of the regular season, will therefore participate in the CEV Cup.
