The summer session of the market has not yet ended but has already offered Diatec Trentino a rather precise physiognomy. On the sidelines of the press presentation and supporters of Jenia Grebennikov, who was clearly involved, coach Angelo Lorenzetti offered Trentino Volley Tv the first impressions on the yellow-red rose 2018/19 which is about to be completed.
"I've always liked the news and so the Diatec Trentino that is being born finds my liking because it presents several innovative elements, but with this I do not want to take anything away from the team that played last season - said the Marchesman technician - . I am ready to study the characteristics of the new roster to understand what kind of development possibilities our game has; the market has been almost completed, a few weeks of rest and then we can start working. It will not be easy to succeed in overcoming some formations that have played a very important buying campaign but Trento will have talent and physicality. Our hope is that it can also have an important competitive look and that can take a cue from last year's team as regards the ability to suffer. On the other hand, I hope that he will be able to impose his game more decisively, from the beginning".
"Last weekend I was at the PalaPanini in Modena to follow the Italian leg of the Volleyball Nations League from the stands, with a special eye for the Trentino Volley players - revealed Lorenzetti - . I noticed how the public appreciate the qualities of our athletes and this made me even more proud of being their coach; were three days in which, although there were no particular logic related to qualifying for the Final Six, the high competitiveness of all formations was confirmed. It is difficult to establish itself continuously in modern volleyball. Precisely for this reason I think that the Final Six of next week will be very balanced and the World Cup that will be played in Italy in September will prove to be very beautiful and very uncertain".
"Aaron Russell is a spiker who I know well and that I had already followed with interest even before he arrived in Italy - has then said the yellow-blue coach - . Last season has put us in great difficulty and I'm curious to know him, also because he comes from a volleyball school that I particularly like. Now it has fallen perfectly in the Italian championship and has consolidated its value over time. I am convinced that he can make a further leap forward".
