SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/2019 is starting

After the beginning of the last week-end in Perugia relative to Del Monte Supercoppa 2018, the 74° Championship Serie A is starting this week-end – the fifth called SuperLega. During the first day of regular season 2018/19, Itas Trentino will play against Emma Villas Siena. The whistle starting is planned at 5.45 p.m: the live coverage on RAI Sport + HD and Radio Dolomiti.
HERE ITAS TRENTINO. The first step of the season lived in Ubria last week-end, offered comforting signals to the yellow-blue team. At the time of the official debut Giannelli and his team will try to confirm what they’ve already done during the match with Perugia and Modena, in order to start in great shape a tournament that consider them one of the strongest team.
“Beyond the quality of the game, which can’t now be a high-level game, it is necessary to use the right determination and the desire to overcome the first problems – declared the trainer Angelo Lorenzetti. “We want to reach the top end of the league, and we must be prepared; we don’t need words but facts. The first commitment, among the other thing, is particularly difficult because we have to face a team as Siena, which is very prepared. Siena is a team with talented players, especially for the receiving, defense and attack”.
Itas Trentino will show up at the debut with the whole team and, before the match, they keep practising. During the eighteen season of the championship, Trentino Volley won the first play ten times: 2002/03 (3-1 victory in Milan), 2005/06 (3-0 in Padua), 2008/09 (Forlì), 2009/10 (3-1 in Latina), 2010/11 (3-0 in Castellana Grotte), 2011/12 (3-0 in Monza), 2013/14 (Latina), 2014/15 (3-0 in Padua),  2015/16 (in Monza) e 2016/17 (3-0 in Vibo). Among the seven defeat, there are four in front of the friend public: season 2004/05 (Trento-Perugia 1-3), 2006/07 (Trento-Taranto 2-3), 2012/13 (Trento-Vibo 1-3) e 2017/18 (Trento-Milano 2-3). The club of via Trener will take the field to play the 766° official match and they try to win the 529° match: they currently won 276 times at home and 252 times away.
THE OPPONENTS. It is an appointment with the history the one against Emma Villas Siena on Sunday evening at BLM Group Arena (Trento). After winning the Serie A2 Play Off during the last season, the Tuscans will debut at BLM group Arena for their first time in Superlega.  The black and white society changed its strategy during the summer in order to be more prepared to face this category. In fact, they bought new players used to Superlega (the setter Maruotti, the blocker Mattei, and Ishikawa) and others players. The important part were taking back to Italy the Cuban left-handed opposite Hernandez Ramos, already protagonist of exceptional performances in attack with the Molfetta and Piacenza’s t-shirt. In the roster there are also the Libero Giovi, and the spiker Fedrizzi, who compete for the captain’s armband with Ishikawa and Vedovotto. However, the Libero Matteo Chiappa is not available for this match. The success in the friendly match played during the week against Perugia (3-1) has clarified the team’s competitiveness at Juan Manuel Cichello’s disposal.
THE BACKGROUND On Sunday there will be the first match between the two teams. Against teams for Tuscany Trentino Volley boasts just two precedents, both in the 2005/06 season when in the top league was Santa Croce (defeat in both cases, 3-0 in Trento, 3-2 away) .
REFEREES The match will be directed by Alessandro Cerra (from Bologna, in the highest category since 2014) and Luca Saltalippi (from Torgiano - Perugia, in Serie A since 2011). For Cerra this is the first absolute meeting with Trentino Volley, while for Saltalippi this is the third, after Latina-Trento 0-3 on 29 December 2016 and Padua-Trento 1-3 on 22 October 2017.
RADIO, INTERNET AND TV The match will attract a global audience, with live broadcast on tv, radio and internet. RAI Sport + HD (channel 57 in HD, 58 in SD) and on the channel 227 on Sky will live stream with the commentary of Marco Fantasia and Claudio Galli; on internet www.raisport.rai.it/dl/raisport/multimedia/diretta.html will stream the match as well.
As usual Radio Dolomiti, official radio partner of Trentino Volley, will cover the whole match starting at 5.45pm. www.radiodolomiti.com a link will allow fans to listen to the live stream by accessing the "On Air" section.
On television, the full replica of the match will be streamed on Monday, October 15 at 21.50 on RTTR - TV partner of Trentino Volley.
On internet, live updates of the match will be available on the Lega Pallavolo Serie A website (www.legavolley.it) and on www.trentinovolley.it, as well as on the Yellow-blue social networks (www.trentinovolley.it/facebook e www.trentinovolley.it/twitter).
TICKETS AND MERCHANDISING The pre-sale tickets for the match against Siena is open until this evening at 7 pm at Promoevent, in via Suffragio 10 in Trento, and at any time on internet by clicking on www.vivaticket.it/ita/event/itas-trentino-siena/118986. The tickets will be available also at the BLM Group Arena of Trento ticket office, open at 4.30pm.
Inside the arena, behind the north side tribune, fans and supporters can find the merchandising point, selling a variety of Trentino Volley gadgets.

Immediately after the greeting at the beginning of the match, the players of the two teams will throw a Menz & Gasser gadget towards the audience. The company will also sponsor the first seasonal number of the match program and the best player prize, which will be given directly by the Technical Director Armando Tamanini.
