Winning and convincing Itas Trentino at the debut in Superlega Credem Banca 2018/19

Itas Trentino has started off on the right foot in SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19. Success and the first three points have been gained at the BLM Group Arena in Trento thanks to the hard work and the performance vs quite a strong team, that is the newly-promoted Emma Villas Siena, during the opening match of the regular season. On this occasion, which was the day of the debut in front of its own crowd, Itas Trentino’s performance has been made easier thanks to the strikers in position n. 4. With Russell (18 points with 67%) and Kovacevic (19 with 65%, two blocks and two aces: mvp) in full swing, Giannelli was able to tackle the front attack very easily, also helped by Grebennikov who was excellently assisting him in the second line and player who has already become a leader of the team. Perhaps the consequent 3-0 has been too a harsh result for the opponent team Siena, even though its players appeared well prepared, but in the end it was a fair result, since Lorenzetti’s team has always held the lead of the match, able to manage in the most appropriate way, and during every partial, the promising advantages they had already gained in the first half of the set.
