On Sunday in Veroli the second round of Superlega Credem Banca

After the anticipation match in Verona (Calzedonia-Sir Safety Conad) of yesterday, today Sunday October 21st is the day of the second turn of 2018/2019 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season. Itas Trentino will face the first away match at PalaCoccia in Veroli (province of Frosinone) where Globo Banca del Frusinate Sora plays the home matches. Start of the match scheduled at 6 pm: live commentary on Radio Dolomiti and live streaming on Lega Volley Channel at www.elevensports.it/superlega.
HERE ITAS TRENTINO Yellow-blues just concluded the second week of training with all the players at use and will play after the longest journey of this regular season, focused on bringing home three more points and remaining in the top ranks of the league, thus confirming the improving physical and technical condition showed last Sunday against Siena.
“We approach this match with a good training - explains coach Angelo Lorenzetti - . In the gym I saw the right attitude and great effort, what we need to face an away match against any of the teams of SuperLega. We want to win and practice what we do during training; we’re a young team, with much to improve and we also need humility. Compared to last season Sora changed some key players and it’s now hard to understand they’re true worth after only one match of regular season. Like all the teams coached by Barbiero they will be disciplined and with three strong attackers”.
Trentino Volley travelled yesterday evening, with all the thirteen players available. This match will be the 767th official match of Trentino Volley’s history, 458th in regular season, with the team looking for the 253th win ever. Luca Vettori is only one point away from the 500th point scored with Trentino Volley’s jersey.
THE OPPONENT After the negative debut against Modena at PalaPanini last Sunday (3-0), the team from Frosinone will play its first match ever in the new PalaCoccia in Veroli. The event is felt with enthusiasm by the many supporters, ready to cheer their team like they used to do at PalaPolsinelli and PalaSport before. The team coached by Mario Barbiero will try to win also thanks to younger polish setter Kedzierski, young middle-blocker Di Martino and brazilian Joao Rafael as spiker(he already played with Molfetta two years ago). They are the three new players that will join Petkovic (bomber of last regular season), Caneschi, Nielsen and Mauti as libero.
PREVIOUS MATCHES Trentino Volley and Argos Volley Sora have competed against each other only in four official matches, which were played between the regular seasons of SuperLega 2016/17 and 2017/18. The overall victory went to Trentino Volley, since the opposite team won only two sets: the one lost during the first previous in Trento (16th December 2016) and the one won in the match that was played in Lazio on the 17th december of last year in Frosinone. Not to forget also a match played at the PalaPolsinelli in Sora, where our team won 3-0 on the 9th October 2016. The latest match took place on the 25th February 2018: 3-0 at the BLM Group Arena with Vettori as mvp (15 points with 81% in attack).
REFEREES The match will be led by Alessandro Tanasi (from Noto – Siracusa, member of Serie A since 2002) and Giorgia Spinnicchia (from Catania – member of the highest category 2011);  the latter is in her highest debut in the top championship. Tanasi had refereed the last previous match of his career in SuperLega right with Trentino Volley as protagonist: 15th of April 2018, match 4 of championship semifinal, which meant victory for our team (3-0) against Perugia at the BLM Group Arena.

TV connections with Lazio will be available on “Campioni di Sport”, the Sunday sports television programme of the broadcaster of via Missioni Africane.
