2018 Club World Championship, Trentino Diatecx wins 3-0 against Resovia

Trentino Diatecx wins the third consecutive match at the 2018 Club World Championship, closing the first phase undefeated and on the first place of the rank. Yellow-blues had the semifinals pass already in their pocket since the last match but kept pushing and playing hard also against home team Asseco Resovia, in the last match of Pool B.
At Hala Podpromie in Rzeszow the team won 3-0 and therefore closed on top of the rank their pool; a result that allows them to play against Pool A second ranked russian team Fakel Novy Urengoy in the semifinal on December 1st in Czestochowa at 8:30 pm.
Despite the minor knee injury that kept Russell out, Yellow-blues managed to play at their usual level in attack (53% as team, only four mistakes) and at the block (8); thanks to these fundamentals they won the first two sets even when the game was getting tougher than expected. The third set turned out much easier, with Kovacevic (16 points scored, 56%, 1block,1 ace) and Van Garderen (14 points, 57%, 2 blocks) leading and scoring almost undisturbed; double figures for Vettori, Lisinac also contributive (1 block and 2 aces).
