Even the return match against Lausanne UC ends with a victory 3-0

A sweet home coming for Trentino Itas at BLM Group Arena. The World Champions returned in front of the home crowd tonight and easily achieved the access to the 2019 CEV Cup eighths of final. What was started in Switzerland two weeks ago with the promising win by 3-0 was completed tonight with another clean sheet victory against Lausanne UC. Even after winning the first two sets that were sufficient for the overall victory, Lorenzetti’s team went all the way and grabbed the eleventh consecutive win, the fifteenth out of the eighteen matches played so far this season. More than anyone else, tonight, Nicola Daldello was in the spotlight as he played instead of Giannelli, who was kept at rest. The experienced setter immediately felt at ease and magnificently directed the attackers (57% team average), often relying on Van Garderen (13 points and 56%), Kovacevic (12 points) and Lisinac (100%). A positive performance also for Nelli (11 points, 48%) and from the team at the serve, with 12 mistakes, 7 aces (3 by Uros). Next opponent in the competition is going to be german team AlpenVolleys Haching, with the match taking place in Trento on December 19th.
