Itas Trentino is unstoppable! The team wins 3 sets against Perugia at BLM Group Arena

2019 starts in a wonderful way for Itas Trentino: the first position in the rank of SuperLega Credem Banca. Tonight, their climb to the first position has got its successful completion thanks to the victory (19th consecutive one) against the Italian Champions  Sir Safety Conad Perugia, that have been defeated in three sets at BLM Group Arena during the 16th turn of regular season.
The World Champions showed their great potential against the team that had been in the lead so far and that had got more points in the away games. On the court Itas Trentino was determined and the performance of the team was excellent thanks to their actions in attack (55% of team and just two direct mistakes), great block-defence and strokes.
Perugia tried to respond during the 3 sets using their ability and Leon (15 points) but then they had to give up because Itas Trentino has always been able to find the right way to close the sets: Kovacevic (17 points with 56%, two blocks and one ace), Vettori (13 with 68%) and Lisinac (mvp with 83%, four blocks and two aces) have been the most striking players, but in order to win the team has to thank Grebennikov, Giannelli, Russell and Candellaro.
