Trentino Volley and Coppa Italia, all the yellow-blue results in the competition

On Saturday 9th February at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna) will take place the twelfth participation of Trentino Volley in the Final Four of Del Monte® Coppa. Trentino Vollay didn’t take part in the competition only in the debut season in A1 (2000/01, eliminated in the quarter-finals of the preliminary phase from Cuneo) and in the last one managed by of Lattari (2006/07).
The team won the competition three times: 31st of January 2010 in Montecatini Terme thanks to a 3-1 over Cuneo in the final, 19th of February 2012 with a 3-2 against Lube at the PalaLottomatica in Rome and 30th December 2012 with 3-1 against Lube at the Forum of Assago. Overall the finals played are seven, considering those lost against Cuneo (2010/11), Modena (2014/15 and 2015/16) and Civitanova (2016/17) in Casalecchio di Reno too. In other four times, instead, the team has been eliminated in the semi-finals: 2002 edition (defeat by 0-3 in Assago against Cuneo), 2006 (ko always in three sets with Cuneo in Forlì), 2014 (defeat for 1-3 with Piacenza in Bologna) and 2018 (0-3 with Perugia in Bari).
For Trentino Volley will be the third challenge against Civitanova in the last four editions of the tournament. For Civitanova this will be the 64 official match against Trentino Volley; after Modena (71) it is the Society that has played the most.
