Play Off, Lorenzetti and Giannelli in the press conference: “Hunting for new emotions"

On Friday afternoon the Sala Video “Villotti Group” in BLM Group Arena hosted a press meeting with Coach Angelo Lorenzetti and Captain Simone Giannelli and the local media. The upcoming 2019 Play Off Scudetto Credem Banca quarter finals against Padova, the series starts on Sunday March 31st at 6 pm in Trento, was the main topic of the press conference.
“We approach the playoffs willing to test ourselves and ready to challenge every opponent, using the information collected during the regular season - explained Angelo Lorenzetti  to the press - . This team already proved to be a top competitor, we can read every match and turn every situation around. During the Playoffs we should try to be as balanced as possible with the game phases: we still have work to do. I am satisfied with the improvement at the serve; this season we played two totally different matches against Padova, with more struggling during the away match. Kioene is a very well structured team, like all the teams coached by Baldovin; he will want to undermine our path in the Playoffs, as it should be. We must stay focused and approach the match with the desire to win, not ambition: they’re both useful in sports, but ambition can lead to arrogance while desire always pushes you to do more and better. We want to advance as far as possible in the rank, those teams that will make it will show the best of the game”.
“In the Playoffs we’ll bring everything we’ve accomplished so far, including the 2019 CEV Cup Final we played in Istanbul last Tuesday, because we might find ourselves in the same difficult situation like against Galatasaray - explained Simone Giannelli -. During that game we managed to keep the focus on the match and make a comeback, a very useful experience. On Thursday we were training again with great motivation; it wasn’t easy but that training session proved that the team is not done yet, we want to fight until the end of the Scudetto Playoff. We are hunting for new emotions”.
