Huge television success during the 2018/19 season: 46% of matches went live

More of 41 hours of tv live, with almost half of the matches that went live: also the 19th year of activity has turned out to be a “good season”, even in terms of television. The usual appeal of Trentino Volley has further improved compared to the past, registering record numbers. During the just ended 2018/19 season, the live matches with Itas Trentino have been 24: this accounts for the 20 live matches on RAI Sport (doubled compared to 2017/18) and the four transmitted on DAZN for the final match of 2019 CEV Cup.
46% of the official matches of Trentino Volley (24 out of 52) have been transmitted live, registering an uplifting +5% and offering an important advantage both tot he sponsors who have supported the society project, and the fans who have also enjoyed the postponed format of the 37 ”italian” matches on RTTR, historical TV partner of Itas. On the whole, the hours of live tv have been more than 35; never before had Trentino Volley enjoyed of so much space on RAI Sport, but this becomes even more significant if we consider also the 64 hours of postponed matches on RTTR and of the almost 36 ones of national streaming live through Lega Volley Channel on www.elevensports.it, that transmitted the matches not covered by RAI Sport+. In this case the whole reach 140h and 48’. Important to underline is that the 20 matches transmitted on RAI Sport were seen at the same time from twenty different nations thanks to the agreements signed by Lega Pallavolo Serie A with the international networks Sportklub, DeporTV, Polsat, BTV, Best4Sport, Nordic Entertainment Group, FloSports, Eurosport, DSmart.
