Cortesia: "Lorenzetti explained to me what it means to play here. I'll put my heart"

The first interview as a Trentino Volley player for Lorenzo Cortesia, middle blocker 1999 officialized today.

Welcome Lorenzo, are you satisfied to finally be part of the Trentino Volley roster?
"Yes. I finally wear the jersey of a club that has written the history of Italian volleyball and I'm proud of it. It's an important starting point for my career, I come to Trento to grow and to offer my contribution to the group".
What have the last two seasons in SuperLega, Siena and Ravenna given you?
"They have been two important experiences, which have enriched me from many points of view. They allowed me to enjoy the most beautiful championship in the world and to realize if I can play at this level. In Siena I had little space, while in Ravenna I played much more”.
In the last year you have already stood out on the block, scoring many direct points; in which fundamental do you think you can grow more?
"Precisely in that of the block, which I consider the most important aspect in a role like that of the middle blocker. In attack, instead, I'd like to improve my self, while in serving I'd like to learn how to beat in power jumps".
You've already had the chance to talk to Angelo Lorenzetti, what did he say?
"He explained to me that to be a Trentino Volley player you need a lot of heart and I was very impressed. I'll try my best to put him on the pitch at every opportunity, training or match. I have great respect for my new coach, I hope I can learn the most from him".
A message for the fans?
"I'd like to say goodbye virtually and with a figurative long-distance hug, because at the moment there's nothing more we can do. My hope is that I'll be able to meet them soon at the stadium as well".
