Good first win in SuperLega 2020/21 for Itas Trentino: 3-0 in Padua thanks to Nimir

Itas Trentino starts its run in SuperLega Credem Banca 2020/21 with three points at the Kioene Arena in Pauda, where in the recent past it has often suffered. However, this time was different; Angelo Lorenzetti’s team had to struggle to shake off the opponent in the first and third set but has won for 3-0, taking home the first three points in the ranking, thanks to an efficient presentation, mostly at service (13 aces, 9 only by Abdel-Aziz) and a block (8 successful). On the Venetian mondoflex, the Dutch opposite spiker was the absolute star, scoring 22 points with 58% at the net and also two blocks; thanks to him the gialloblù team has won with two partials ended only at the advantages and took over the second period, when Itas Trentino did a great defence. With Nimir, the proof of Kooky was positive as well (12 points with 73%, three blocks and one ace), which has compensated with the great work at the net a few too many difficulties in the second line. The Brazilian Lucarelli, still distant from his best condition, has struggled in attack, but he held up well in reception and he did well also at the service, containing the opposing shots mainly by Vitelli.
