Gas Sales Piacenza-Itas Trentino 0-3, the match report

Match report. At the PalaBanca, Itas Trentino can’t count on Michieletto so Lorenzetti has no doubt in confirming the same starting six that played in Civitanova Marche, Giannelli as leader, Nimir opposite, Kooy and Lucarelli as spikers, Podrascanin and Lisinac as middle-blockers and Rossini as libero. The starting six of Gas Sales Bluenergy consists of Hierrezuelo at serve, Russell and Clevenot at place 4, Candellaro and Polo as middle-blockers, Scanferla as libero. The play is already promising for gialloblù team, Nimir is scoring and leads to 8-6 and then to 10-7, Bernardi calls a time-out.  Right after, Trento’s pace is increasing rapidly (15-12, 18-14), also thanks to some errors that the opponent are doing, but Candellaro starts scoring (21-19). Lorenzetti calls a time-out, as the play begins again Giannelli and his mates starts scoring again and soon get to 24-19, Kooy serves well and scores an ace too. Clevenot tries to recover, but it’s too late: he scores to 24-22 but then Nimir win the set (25-22).
On a wave of enthusiasm for the first set, Itas Trentino begins well the second one too (5-3 e 7-4), Nimir and Podrascanin are leading the play, the points are increasing rapidly (12-6). The Dutch opposite is playing well from the line of 9 meters and for the opponents it is too hard to recover (14-7, 20-11), Nimir scores the last point 25-12.
The third one isn’t much different, gialloblù scores since the very beginning (5-2) and keep their pace no matter the opponents' attempt to recover (from 6-5 to 9-5). Candellaro and Russel suddently score and Lorenzetti calls a time-out (14-12). As the play starts again, Itas Trentino is keen and Kooy scores 16-12, the opponent team scores too and the points are 22-21 but then Lisinac win the third match thanks to 2 consecutive ace.
