Michieletto recovers from coronavirus: “Finally! I have a great desire to go back”

Trentino Volley and the player waited for almost a month this good news: the result of the molecular swab underwent in the last few hours by Alessandro Michieletto has given a negative result. The young gialloblù spiker has finally recovered from Coronavirus, contracted during the European Under 20 played with the National Team Juniores in Czech Republic, and already this afternoon has returned to train in the weight room (alone, the rest of the team is in self-quarantine).
“I couldn’t wait to be negative and now I’m very happy to have recovered. – said Alessandro, returned in Trento today, after having been in quarantine in his home in Castiglione Delle Stiviere - . After contracting the virus, I was locked in my room for almost four weeks, a long and difficult period to bear for a guy like me, used to live in group. It was a very particular experience that surely marked me, but also led me to understand what the important things in life are: health, family, dear ones, and friends. While not being able to see anyone, I always felt the love of everybody, and this helped me to spend the long period of isolation well. Thanks to the social networks, I have constantly followed my Itas Trentino, cheering at every match and showing interest in everything: I was the most constant follower of Trentino Volley! I’m very happy that my teammates succeeded in qualify to the Main Phase of Champions League: this objective was surely the most important to reach during these latest weeks, because there will still be a lot of time ahead of us to get back to the SuperLega ranking, hoping that the championship will continue. I’m fine and want to move on after the experience I lived; having overcome such a situation it will give me even more energy and determination to soon come back on the field. I know that I will not be at my best, but the enthusiasm that now I have will help me to bridge over my physical and technical gap accumulated in the last month”.
