Social network, Gazzetta dello Sport: “Trentino Volley wins the record of followers: 395k"

The weekly edition of “V come Volley”, insert in the newsstands every Friday with the newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, offers an interesting study to Social Networks related to the world of volleyball. The analysis of the insert, based on the overall number of followers on the main platforms of the clubs of SuperLega and Serie A1 women, gives this particular record to Trentino Volley.
In fact, no Italian club can boast a greater number of fans than the gialloblù one: overall are 395.400. The primacy is certified above all thanks to the absolute first position in particularly popular social networks such as YouTube (13.200 followers), Twitter (33.700) and TikTok (of growing popularity between young people, 131.600), but also thanks to the greatest increase in followers of the entire Italian Serie A between February and December 2020. In the last ten months, the Social Networks of Trentino Volley have increased of 56.500 followers their catchment area, thus managing to bring even more people together just when the fans were no longer able to go to see their favourite team matches.
The study of “V come Volley”, realised by Brainpull (a marketing agency with a particular social vocation) reports an estimate of the average commercial value of an Instagram post from the gialloblù profile as well, imagining Trentino Volley as an influencer: in this case the gialloblù Club is among the top three.
