SuperLega, Itas Trentino wins the derby of the A22 of the return group

The PalaPanini of Modena certifies the good moment of Itas Trentino. In fact, tonight at the historic Emilian facility the giallo-blù team continued their positive streak, which has lasted since the beginning of December, securing the hard-fought 76th A22 derby with 3-1 against Leo Shoes. After the 3-0 of the first leg at the BLM Group Arena, Giannelli and his teammates then double the victory, winning the match valid for the second half (sixteenth round) of the regular season SuperLega Credem Bank 2020/21.
The eighth consecutive victory between the championship and the Champions League came at the end of a match that Lorenzetti's team dominated in the first and a half set, working very well at block and service. The vehement return of Modena almost jeopardized the victory of the second set (won at the advantages) and forced Giannelli and his teammates to play also the fourth set, after losing the third in the sprint. In the most difficult moment, the giallo-blù team found cohesion and effectiveness in the break point phase, closing the match at 3-1 thanks above all to Nimir's monstre performance. The Dutch opposite spiker has signed 30 personal points, 14 of which in the break phase, with 51% in attack, three blocks, four aces; Lucarelli played well too (15 with 50%, two blocks and two aces) and the powerful service of Michieletto (3) and Lisinac on the block (4) were also important.
