StageUp survey, the SuperLega continues to interest more and more Italians: 12.22 million

The men's volleyball SuperLeague continues its exponential growth in terms of appeal. The survey carried out by StageUp (a company specializing in research, consultancy and advisory services in the sports markets) in November 2020 in fact highlighted an increase of 4.7% of interested parties compared to June of the same year. The survey of the multiclient research periodical has in fact shown how the share of people who frequently follow the top volleyball championship has reached 12 million and 222 thousand.
This is the best result obtained by the Championship since the start of the Sponsor Value research, which took place during the 2000/01 Sporting Season. The target sees the prevalence of men (55%), of age aligned with the Italian population, of medium / high status and good spending power, as evidenced by a high concentration of graduates with medium / high income.
The fans (which follow the Event regularly or fairly regularly) are 3.8 million (30% of the interested parties) and, in terms of target, they maintain the medium-high status of the interested parties, but show a greater presence of young age between 14 and 34 years.
From a media point of view, the leadership of use through the RAI Sport television channel (35%) is confirmed, with a strengthening of the Lega Volley Channel streaming service (7%), Radio (7%) and Social Networks (11%).
