2021 CEV Champions League, during Quarter Finals Trentino Itas will play against Berlin

This morning the combinations for the final quarters of 2021 CEV Volleyball Champions League has been officialized in Luxembourg. For the phase of straight single-elimination of the European Trophy, Itas Trentino will play against the German Berlin Recycling Volleys (second on the ranking of pool C): first round will be played in Germany, second round at BLM Group Arena. These team have already played together in 2014, one victory on home filed each: on 24th October 2013 in Trento (3-1), on 18th December 2013 in Germany (0-3).
The dates: first round match of the final quarters is scheduled between 23 and 25 February in Berlin, the second round between 2 and 4 March in Trento. Every societies still have to confirm the date and the time of the match, and get an agreement with national federations and local televisions.
The 4 team that will win all the matches will play also the semi-finals, scheduled for the second half of March; if the teams have won one match each at tie break, or if both have won one match at 4th set, at the end of the second match they will play Golden Set at 15. The winner team between Trentino Itas and Berlin Recycling will play against the winner of the Italian derby Modena-Perugia.
The final is scheduled for 1st may, it’s still to be defined where.
