SuperLega, the performance rankings certify Nimir's great regular season

What just ended was the first week of 2021 without official commitments for Trentino Volley. After having brilliantly broken off the qualification for the quarter-finals of 2021 CEV Champions League, the giallo-blù team will in fact be able to relax for another ten days, continuing their activity in the gym without having to play matches until 24 February (date of the match first leg of the double European match with Berlin). The return to national competitions, with the start of the Play Off Scudetto, will take place even later and precisely on 10 March - date of match 1 of the quarter-finals to be played at the BLM Group Arena against the winner of the eighth-final Piacenza-Padova. The advantage of having avoided the first round of the scoreboard that will award the Italian 2020/21 title has come thanks to the third final position in the SuperLega Credem Banca regular season ranking. An excellent position that is explained not only by the sixteen victories obtained in twenty-two matches but also by the numbers, which have always offered an absolutely truthful and objective overview in volleyball.
The performance rankings from this point of view certify the excellent season so far experienced in particular by Nimir Abdel-Aziz, Marko Podrascanin and Salvatore Rossini, three of the most important hits scored in the last volleyball market by the club Trener. The Dutch opposite spiker was in fact confirmed for the second consecutive year as the best scorer of the regular season, scoring 442 points in 22 games, with an extraordinary average of 5.52 points per set and with 32 points ahead of the second, the Perugian Leon. The same speech can also be replicated for the single fundamental of service: the giallo-blù number 14 was in fact the first aceman of the tournament, as had happened in the previous regular season, scoring 74 points in 22 games, 20 more than Leon and averaging 0.92 per set. Not enough, because Nimir is also at the top of the ranking of winning attacks: 340, at an average of 4.25 per set.
In the other fundamentals the star of the Serbian middle-blockers shines: Podrascanin is the second blocker in the championship with 50 winning blocks (four less than the record holder Anzani, which played one extra game) and is also the second place 3 of the tournament by index, behind Simon. Lisinac is the second overall spiker by weighted average, with 63.3% of winning first halves. Finally, Salvatore Rossini is the fourth receiver of the championship by weighted average with an index of 5.91 and 28.7% of perfect receptions and precedes by a few decimal Alessandro Michieletto (fifth with 28.5 and index of 5.91) .
Many significant data are also found in the rankings that take into account the performance of the entire team in individual sectors of the game; In fact, Itas Trentino stands out in the number of aces (159 in twenty-two games played, with an average per set of 1.99) and is second behind Monza in that which takes into account the winning blocks per set (2.28 for a total of 182 block).
