European Cups, Trentino Volley has already qualified to 2022 CEV Champions League

Easter day reserved a special gift for Trentino Volley: the pass for 2022 CEV Champions League. Thanks to the victory achieved today in Perugia, during match 3 of semifinal of Play Off Scudetto 2021 against Monza, Itas has assured itself the participation also to next edition of Champions League. Angelo Lorenzetti’s team achieved this goal for the 3rd consecutive year thanks to the 3rd place on the final ranking of regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2020/21. 
Indeed, according to the regulation, the winner of regular season and the two finalist teams of Play Off qualify to 2022 CEV Champions League; if two of these places are occupied by the same team (for instance Perugia, that won regular season and is in final), next best team on the ranking has the right to qualify.  So, no matter the result of the semifinal match against Civitanova, Trentino Volley is sure to play in Champions League also next year.For this season, the team will play the final match in this competition. In November 2021 Itas will take part for 11th time to Champions League of its story; since 2008, the team played at least one international match every year.
