2022 starts with a bang! Itas Trentino secures the big match of the SuperLega vs Perugia

The year 2022 starts with a bang for Itas Trentino. Following up on what was shown in the last commitment of the previous calendar year, this evening at the BLM Group Arena the yellow-blue team has in fact secured the big match of the 18th round of the regular season SuperLega Credem Banca, overcoming the leader Perugia at the tie-break.
The first success of the first half of the season, achieved against Sir Safety, who had always won every away game in this championship, came at the end of a hard-fought match, which saw Lorenzetti's team resist for a long time, before defeating an opponent that had to do without its most awaited player, Simone Giannelli.
Unavailable since the morning due to mild flu-like symptoms (the same ones suffered by Ricci), the former player left room for Travica who insisted on Leon (28 points) and Rychlicki (21); even the two Umbrian side hitters had to bow down to the yellow-blue team, determined at the beginning of the match and able to respond after losing the third and fourth partials. The 20 points of captain Kaziyski (a really great tie-break), the 17 points of Michieletto, always present in all sectors of the game, the four blocks of Podrascanin and the brilliant performance of Lisinac (rightly voted mvp thanks to excellent numbers: 85% in the first half, two blocks and many effective services) were essential for the victory.
