Lorenzetti: "We strongly wanted the Play Off semifinal"

"We strongly wanted to win the Play Off semifinal to confirm the good things we did in the regular season - commented Itas Trentino coach Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of game 3 - . We succeeded and we are happy, also because in a SuperLega of such a high level nothing is predictable. The team was good at playing this match keeping the pace it had had for most of Thursday night's match in the Champions League; it was something we had promised ourselves and, apart from the break in the second set, we managed to do it".
For Itas Trentino, Monday will be a day of rest and recovery work, before returning to full training ahead of game 1 of the Credem Banca 2022 Scudetto Play Off Semifinal, which will be played on Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 pm at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche against Cucine Lube. The next home game is scheduled for eight days from now (Monday, April 18 at 6 pm) for game 2 of the best-of-five series.
