Piacenza, Lorenzetti: "We fought and tried until the end"

“We fought and tried until the end, despite not being able to line up a team with great acquired game mechanisms” Itas Trentino coach Angelo Lorenzetti commented at the end of the match, “Having some regret for what we did not manage to exploit in the final third and fourth sets must be something that makes us proud of what we did, even if in that specific moment from the technical point of view we lacked something in defense. We were quite predictable in our game, but it was in the order of things that it could happen and I have nothing to say to the team who, instead, played to the best of their ability.”
Itas Trentino will be back on court as early as Thursday 20 October at 8.30 p.m. at the BLM Group Arena to face Cucine Lube Civitanova in the fifth round of the regular season, brought forward to that date because on the original one (30 October) both teams will be in Cagliari for the Final Four of the Del Monte® Supercoppa 2022.
