Itas Trentino-WithU Verona 3-0, the match report

Match report. No surprise for the starting six: Itas Trentino took the court with Sbertoli at serve, Kaziyski opposite, Michieletto and Lavia as hitters, Lisinac and Podrascanin as middle blockers , Laurenzano as libero. Verona responded with Spirito as setter, Sapozhkov opposite, Keita and Mozic in place 4, Cortesia and Grozdanov as middle blockers and Gaggini as libero. The start for the hosts was on fire; with Sbertoli's serve immediately incisive Trento put the Scaligeri sideout phase in trouble, quickly gaining a five-point lead (5-0) thanks to Michieletto (block and attack), Lisinac and Kaziyski. Stoytchev promptly called time out and when the game resumed, his team broke free with Keita (6-4) and Sapozhkov (7-6), quickly sewing up the gap. Lorenzetti was also forced to interrupt the game, but it was Lisinac who widened the margin with two consecutive aces on Keita (10-6), imitated a few minutes later by Lavia (two more point hits and a pipe for 16-8). On 17-8 Verona also spent the last time-out, denouncing great difficulties in reception that Podrascanin also highlighted, in turn scoring with his serve (20-9) and launching Itas Trentino towards a 1-0 home lead that arrived on 25-13, after another ace (Michieletto).
Trentino’s rush at service and in attack goes even further in the second set, of which Lorenzetti team immediately holds the reins by starting with a sprint (5-1 and 10-3) thanks to Lisinac and the aces. Kaziyski goes wild and scores some good points with each fundamental (block on Mozic, ace and attack) for 12-5. On 16-7 Stoytchev replaces Raphael with Spirito (the over 3.385 people in the public applaud him), but the Brazilian could not make it to cheer the team up, which indeed suffers even more Trentino’s power at the net (20-9); the latter gains the 2-0 with the same score and Podrascanin is the main character at the end of the set (25-13).
In the third set, WithU already called the two timeouts on 8-3 for Trento, who did amazingly at serve and block. Verona struggles in reception and Itas Trentino takes advantage of it again (12-5). Stoytchev calls the benched players Perrin and Mosca and his team attempt a comeback /15-8), but this attempt goes on just with sideout phases (17-10). Kaziyski scores again with the serve (19-11) and the game’s verdict seems to be clear: the 3-0 it’s a done deal on 25-16 (Michieletto’s attack).
