Biella, Soli: "We must hold on to the positive things we offered in this match"

"We  must  hold  on  to  the  positive  things  we  offered  in  this  match  and  restart  from  those," Trentino coach Fabio Soli commented at the end of the match. "The approach to the match, and the first set in particular, was very good, as it had been against Cisterna and Taranto, but with the added merit of having won it that way against a Perugia that is in my opinion the absolute strongest team in Italy. We needed to put gas in the engine and it was clear that at a certain point  we  didn't  have  any  left.  We  were  very  good  at  working  between  wall  and  defence,  but without capitalising on this in the counter-attack. To settle the contest in the third set Sir Susa Vim had to draw on their bench, drafting a fresh player like Leon and this, in my opinion, says a lot about the quality of our performance. Congratulations to Perugia, but we start from here to build  something important".
The next engagement for the Italian Champions is scheduled for Sunday, 5th November at 7.30 p.m.  in  Verona  for  the  traditional  Adige  derby  valid  for  the  third  round  of  the  regular  season SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24.
