SuperLega, yellow-blue at work on Christmas afternoon ahead of Padova

Christmas Eve and Christmas afternoon to be spent at the ilT quotidiano Arena for Itas Trentino men's team. The upcoming home match on Boxing Day in Padua, which corresponds to the last game of the first half of the SuperLega, is just around the corner and will force the players and staff to spend the Christmas holidays in the gym: after today's training session right after lunch (weights and ball), the Italian champions will be on stage at the via Fersina facility on the afternoon of 25 December, between 4 and 6 p.m., holding a new technical-tactical session (open to the public) on the main court.
The Christmas work session is a very special but not unprecedented circumstance for Trentino Volleyball, which has already found itself in this situation twelve times in the recent past in order to prepare in the best possible way for an official match scheduled for the following day. The balance of matches played on this precise date sees the yellow-blue score on nine occasions: 3-1 over Verona in 2005 and 2022, 3-0 over Treviso in 2010, 3-1 in Belluno in 2011, 3-1 with Perugia in 2012, 3-0 in Monza in 2014, 3-1 with Padova in 2016, 3-1 with Monza in 2017 and 3-1 in Siena in 2018. Away the only three defeats: 1-3 to Modena in 2006, 1-3 to Treviso in 2007, 2-3 to Verona in 2021. On one occasion Trento also played an official match on 25 December: a 3-1 home win over Ravenna at Christmas 2019.
