Trento, 04 March 2024

On Wednesday the Scudetto Play Off 2024 starts: Trentino Volley at the 21st participation

Wednesday sees the start of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2024 Scudetto Play Offs with the first match of the quarter-final series; thanks to their first-place finish in the regular season standings, Itas Trentino will be able to make their debut at the ilT quotidiano Arena against Valsa Group Modena in the first match of the quarter-final series at the best of five, scheduled for March 6 at 20.30. Against the Emilians, Trentino Volley will inaugurate its twenty-first participation in the post season phase in twenty-four seasons in total. Only in the years 2000/01, 2001/02 and 2019/20 (in this case due to the lockdown) the Club did not play the Play Offs.
In the previous twenty occasions, on no less than sixteen occasions the yellow-blue Club managed to get past the first round; in the other four cases, the eliminations came already in the first round (quarter-finals). In this edition, the Club from via Trener will be looking to play for a possible tenth final in the last sixteen participations.
If we exclude the unfortunate 2013/14 season (two matches and two defeats), in every Play Off in which Trentino Volley has taken part it has always won at least one match; in fifteen cases out of twenty it won the first match.
